Directions

  1. How Long to cook Lobster Tails

Make sure you defrost the lobster tails prior to steaming or boiling. Place lobster tails in a steaming basket and steam for 10 minutes for best taste, anything over this may overcook them and make them chewy/rubbery. If you do not have a steaming basket, place lobster tails in boiling hot water for around 1 minute per oz of total lobster tail weight. For instance if there are 4 ounces of lobster tails you would boil them for 4 minutes, and it's really that easy to find out how long to cook lobster tails for!

Make sure the outer shell of the lobster has turned red, and make sure the meat is a nice white color.
